Our commitment
We want this store to be usable by everyone β including people who rely on keyboards, screen readers, magnification, or reduced motion. We treat accessibility as ongoing work to improve continuously, not a one-time checkbox.
Standards we target
We aim toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a target. This is a goal we design and build against β not a certification, and not a claim of full conformance. Pages are reviewed against it as they are built and revised.
What works today
In the current build:
- Keyboard navigation β the header, menus, links, and buttons are reachable and operable by keyboard.
- Reduced motion β animations and smooth scrolling are disabled when your system requests reduced motion.
- Semantic markup β landmarks, ordered headings, labelled icon buttons, and text alternatives on meaningful graphics.
Known limitations
Honest status: this site is under active development, so several things are not finished:
- The site has not yet been through a full assistive-technology audit (screen readers, voice control, switch access).
- Colour-contrast and focus-visibility checks are ongoing as pages are added.
- Some third-party components (checkout apps, embedded media) may not fully match our targets yet.
We work through these as pages are added and revised.
Feedback
If something on this site is hard to use with your setup, we want to know. Reach us through the contact page and tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the technology you were using β we prioritize fixes from this feedback.
