Your lower spine has a natural inward curve. Most seats let it collapse backward into a slump, and the muscles around it spend the whole session fighting that. Lumbar support fills the gap so the curve holds its shape without effort — that's the whole trick, and it's why it matters more than any other single comfort feature.

Honest care notes
- PU leather is easy to live with but it is not cowhide — keep it out of prolonged direct sun and skip harsh solvents, and it will keep its finish.
- Mesh doesn't stain the way fabric does, but crumbs love the weave. A monthly once-over with a vacuum brush keeps it fresh.
- Linen over memory foam is the most tactile surface here and the one to treat most gently: blot spills, don't scrub, and let it air-dry.
Chapter 03 — Adjustability
A chair should meet you, not the other way around

Armrests that hold your line
